Allison Nelik currently serves as Executive Director, Head of Global Internal Communications at MSCI, a leading provider of critical decision support tools and services for the global investment industry. Over her four years with MSCI, Allison has built a strategic Internal and Executive Communications function from the ground up. She serves as a strategic communications advisor to the CEO, President and COO, CHRO and more.  

Prior to MSCI, Allison held two roles at MetLife, Director of Employee Engagement Communications and Director of HR Communications. In these roles, Allison created and executed a wide range of strategic communication plans that helped employees align to MetLife’s enterprise strategy and understand their role in the organization’s success. Prior to MetLife, Allison served the Corporate Communications Manager for Viacom International’s South Cluster. Based in Madrid, Spain, Allison developed corporate communication plans and consumer publicity activities to support the business goals of Viacom South Europe, Middle East and Africa. Allison began her career in the film industry, first working as a publicist for Allied Global Marketing and then in regional publicity and promotions at Universal Pictures. 


Allison has a master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from NYU and earned a B.A. from Towson University in Communication Studies and Mass Communications. She also served as an adjunct professor for four semesters at NYU, instructing a class titled Global Relations and Intercultural Communications for the school’s M.S. Public Relations and Corporate Communications program. Allison is based in New York.
